Practiced in San Francisco all his career

My brother, Benjamin Henry Parkinson, Jr., was born in 1922 and died around 2001 of some brain disorder such as Parkinson's. He was an accomplished, but modest, California lawyer. He was first in hisclass as Stanford Law School, a prestigious law school, and a highly regarded trial lawyer in San Francisco for almost 50 years. He was an artillery officer in WWII, having graduated from Reserve Officers Training Course at Stanford but then sent again to Officers Candidate School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was in the initial occupation of Japan for a couple of years, with the First Cavalry Division. After graduating law school in class of 1949 he was called back into the army in the Korean War after 1950. He was transferrred to the Judge Advocate Corps
(lawyers) afterstationing in Bad Hamburg. He had three living children, with progeny, about whom I can fill you in later.(Note from Roger Parkinson)
